THE BIG STONE
The main tourist attraction in the region, famous for being one of the best hang gliding points as well as a spectacular viewpoint. It is one of the highest points in the region (1,450 m). For those who like hang gliding and paragliding, the best period is during the spring.

Considered one of the largest producers of flowers and strawberries in the country, Atibaia leads the title as “Brazilian capital" for production and export of flowers and strawberries. JOÃO BATISTA CONTI MUSEUM
Built in the year of 1836, it was headquarters of the Jail and the Municipal Forum. It was listed in 1956, given its historic and national artistic value. Its collection contains weapons, objects of the Empire, of the Republic, folklore, religious art, fashion, music and pictures.
